Section 41-7-4 Disposition of funds. Section 34-14A-4 Officers; meetings; compensation. (a) Members of the board shall select from its own membership a chair, who shall preside at all meetings of the board unless otherwise ordered, and he or she shall exercise and perform all duties and functions incident to the office of chair. There is hereby created an advisory council to the department to be composed of representatives of designated small business enterprises to be named as follows: Five by the Governor, two each by the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and one by the secretary of the department to serve ex officio as chairman of the council.
