Section 41-6A-7 Administration of chapter; contracts with other agencies, departments, etc.;
other agencies, departments, etc., affecting chapter to report to department; abstracts of
proposals sent to department. The department is solely responsible for the administration
of this chapter; however, the department may enter into a contractual agreement with state
agencies or departments, educational institutions and such other organizations and individuals
necessary to fulfill its responsibilities. Any agency, department, educational institution
or organization of the state which affects the administration or implementation of this chapter
is required to communicate such activities to the department. Abstracts of proposals for energy-related
grants shall be sent to the department for informational and coordination purposes. Such abstracts

Section 16-44A-32 Powers and duties of board. In furtherance of the purposes of the trust,
the board of trustees shall have the following powers and duties: (1) Accept gifts, contributions,

Section 16-33B-4 Basic powers and duties of the Alabama Commission on Higher Education for
the Alabama Guaranteed Student Loan Program. (a) Basic powers. The Alabama Commission on Higher

Section 12-15-314 Dispositions for dependent children. (a) If a child is found to be dependent,
the juvenile court may make any of the following orders of disposition to protect the welfare
of the child: (1) Permit the child to remain with the parent, legal guardian, or other legal
