Section 41-28-7 Search committee. (a) There is created a search committee whose purpose, when
the need arises, is to recommend candidates to the Governor to serve as the Secretary of Information
Technology. (b) The committee shall be composed of the following individuals: (1) Two members
appointed by the Governor. (2) A member appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
(3) A member appointed by the President Pro Tempore of the Senate. (4) A member appointed
by the Lieutenant Governor. (c) The committee shall conduct a search using, at a minimum,
the following criteria: (1) A minimum of 15 years senior management experience in a large
organization. (2) Demonstrated experience in the following areas: a. Strategic planning and

Section 34-23-90 Authority; composition. (a) The Alabama State Board of Pharmacy is vested
with the authority to carry out the purposes of and enforce this chapter. The board shall
consist of five members who are citizens of this state. The members of the board shall be
licensed pharmacists who have been licensed in this state for a minimum of five years and
who are actively engaged in the practice of pharmacy or pharmacy administration, or both.
(b) Three members shall be appointed by the Governor. Of the three appointed members, one
member shall be engaged in the practice of pharmacy or pharmacy administration, or both, in
a hospital, one in an independent pharmacy, and one in a chain pharmacy. On or before August

Section 16-23-16.1 Creation of Professional Teachers Standards Commission; designation or development
of entry-level pre-certification examination for teacher candidates. (a) The Legislature finds
that Alabama is alone among the southern states in not testing teacher candidates before allowing
them in the classroom, and acknowledges that the need exists to establish, maintain, and enforce
minimum professional standards for teacher candidates in the State of Alabama. In response
to such need, there is hereby created a Professional Teachers Standards Commission (the commission)

Section 34-21-2 Board of Nursing generally. (a) There is created the Board of Nursing, which
shall be composed of 13 members to be appointed and have the duties and powers enumerated
in this section. The membership of the board shall be inclusive and reflect the racial, gender,
geographic, urban/rural, and economic diversity of the state. In order to insure continuity
of administration, the nine board members provided for by Section 3 of Act 427, Regular Session

Section 34-21A-3 Alabama Onsite Wastewater Board. (a) There is established the Alabama Onsite
