Section 9-12-113 Licenses or permits for commercial fishing; net or seine permits. (a) Each license or permit issued by the Commissioner of Conservation and Natural Resources or his or her authorized agent shall state the name of the applicant. (1) If the applicant is a resident of the State of Alabama, the applicant shall pay the following fees: a. One hundred dollars ($100) for commercial fishing. b. Three hundred dollars ($300) on each net or seine permit, plus an additional five hundred dollars ($500) per permit for the taking of Roe Mullet and Spanish Mackerel, as defined by regulation of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. c. Section 10A-2A-8.58 Variation by corporate action; application of division. (a) A corporation may, by a provision in its certificate of incorporation, bylaws, or in a resolution adopted or a contract approved by the board of directors or stockholders, obligate itself in advance of the act or omission giving rise to a proceeding to provide indemnification in accordance with Section 10A-2A-8.51 or advance funds to pay for or reimburse expenses in accordance with Section 10A-2A-8.53. (a) Commencing on May 14, 2009, insurance companies shall provide a premium discount or insurance rate reduction in an amount and manner as established in subsection (j) and pursuant to Section 27-31D-3.
