Section 7-9A-102 Definitions and index of definitions. (a) Article 9A definitions. In this article: (1) "Accession" means goods that are physically united with other goods in such a manner that the identity of the original goods is not lost. Section 41-4-350 Legislative findings; purpose. (a) The Legislature of Alabama hereby finds and determines that the responsible stewardship of its state-owned and leased real property is a proper governmental function of the State of Alabama. The Legislature finds that costs for maintenance, construction, and leasing of real property in the state government comprise a significant portion of available resources. Section 40-9-14.1 Certificates of exemption to governmental entities, contractors, etc., for certain tax exempt projects. (a) For the purposes of this section, the term governmental entity means the State of Alabama and its political subdivisions, including a county, a municipality, an industrial or economic development board or authority, and any public water or sewer authority, district, system, or board that otherwise is sales and use tax exempt.
