Section 41-5A-6 Chief examiner - Recovery audits for overpayments of state funds. (a) For the purposes of this section, the following words have the following meanings: (1) CHIEF EXAMINER. Section 39-2-12 Partial and final payments of contractors by awarding authorities. (a) As used in this section the following words shall have the meanings ascribed to them as follows: (1) CONTRACTOR. Any natural person, partnership, company, firm, corporation, association, limited liability company, cooperative, or other legal entity licensed by the Alabama State Licensing Board for General Contractors. Section 36-27-24 Funds for assets of retirement system - Creation; composition; disposition of funds; appropriations. Section 40-26-21 Allowance of discount of taxes. The Governor may, by executive order, authorize the state Department of Revenue to provide by proper rules and regulations for the allowance of a discount of taxes due and payable to the state by persons subject to the lodgings tax levied by this chapter, in the same manner and to the same extent as the discount allowed persons licensed under the provisions of Division 1 of Article 1 of Chapter 23 of this title. The discount provided for herein shall not exceed five percent of the first $100 of taxes levied and two percent of the taxes levied over $100 and due and payable to the state by persons subject to this chapter. Section 9-13-84 Payment and disposition of taxes generally; Special State Forestry Fund; appropriation of tax receipts for use of State Forestry Commission.
