Section 34-5-13 Board of Barber Examiners. There is hereby created the Alabama Board of Barber Examiners, to consist of five persons. Such board shall be appointed by the Governor of the State of Alabama, one person appointed for the term of one year, one person for a term of two years, one person for a term of three years, one person for a term of four years, and one person for a term of five years and until their successors are appointed and qualified. Each member of the board shall be a practicing registered barber, who has followed the occupation of barbering for five continuous years in Alabama prior to his or her appointment.
