Section 40-18-402 Renewal of Alabama Commission. (a) There is hereby created the Renewal of
Alabama Commission. (b) The commission shall be comprised of all of the following persons:
(1) The Director of Finance, or his or her designee. (2) The Secretary of Commerce, or his
or her designee. (3) The Chair of the House Ways and Means Education Committee, or its successor
committee, if any, or his or her designee. (4) The Chair of the Senate Finance and Taxation
Education Committee, or its successor committee, if any, or his or her designee. (5) Three

Section 21-3A-4 Composition; appointment and duties of members. (a) For the purposes of implementing

Section 37-15-10.1 Underground Damage Prevention Authority. (a) The Underground Damage Prevention
Authority is created for the purpose of enforcing this chapter and for reviewing penalty provisions
and the adequacy of the enforcement process. It is the intent of the Legislature that the
authority and its enforcement activities not be funded by appropriations from the state budget.

on every person, firm, or corporation that sells, stores, delivers, uses, or otherwise consumes
