Section 11-54-88 Additional powers as to pollution control facilities. (a)(1) In addition to
all other powers at any time conferred on them by law, each industrial development board shall
have the following powers: a. To acquire, whether by construction, purchase, exchange, gift,
lease, or otherwise and to enlarge, improve, replace, equip, and maintain one or more pollution
control facilities, including all real and personal properties deemed necessary or desirable
in connection therewith, including the sale and issuance of bonds for any of the said purposes;
b. To lease to others and otherwise dispose of all or any portion of any pollution control
facility; and c. To exercise with respect to any pollution control facility and each part
thereof any and all powers that are conferred on industrial development boards by other provisions

Section 11-97-2 Definitions. The following words and phrases used in this chapter, and others
evidently intended as the equivalent thereof, shall, in the absence of a clear implication

Section 9-16-91 Surface effects of underground coal mining; requirements; remedies. (a) The
regulatory authority shall promulgate rules and regulations directed toward the surface effects
of underground coal mining operations, and embodying the following requirements. In adopting
any rules and regulations, the regulatory authority shall consider all distinct differences
between surface coal mining and underground coal mining. (b) Each permit issued pursuant to

Section 4-3-18 Use of proceeds from sale of bonds. The proceeds derived from the sale of any
bonds (other than refunding bonds) may be used only to pay the cost of acquiring, constructing,

Section 23-1-375 Operation of airport, landing field, without license prohibited; application
for certificate of approval of proposed airport or landing field; limitation of operations
conducted on licensed airport. (a) Except as otherwise provided in this article, a person
or a municipality, officer, or employee of a municipality may not operate an airport, restricted
