Section 45-35A-52.01 Definitions. The following words and phrases used in this part, and others evidently intended as the equivalent thereof, in the absence of clear implication herein otherwise, shall be given the following respective interpretations herein: (1) APPLICANT. A natural person who files a written application with the governing body of the city in accordance with Section 45-35A-52.03. (2) AUTHORITY. The Dothan Downtown Redevelopment Authority, a public corporation organized pursuant to this part. (3) AUTHORIZING RESOLUTION. Section 11-86-3 Powers and duties generally. The recreation board shall be responsible for the direction, supervision and promotion of such recreation programs as will contribute to the general welfare of the residents of the county or municipality.
