Section 41-16-50 Contracts for which competitive bidding required. (a) With the exception of
contracts for public works whose competitive bidding requirements are governed exclusively
by Title 39, all expenditure of funds of whatever nature for labor, services, work, or for
the purchase of materials, equipment, supplies, or other personal property involving fifteen
thousand dollars ($15,000) or more, and the lease of materials, equipment, supplies, or other

Section 6-11-3 Future damages; requirements if damages greater than $150,000; attorney's fees;
periodic payments over period of years; specific findings; evidence of financial ability to

comply with the following in rendering its judgment in the case: (1) Judgment shall be entered

Section 34-8-2 Licensure and classification of contractors. (a) Any person desiring to be licensed
or desiring a renewal of an existing license as a general contractor in this state shall be
a citizen of the United States or, if not a citizen of the United States, a person who is
legally present in the United States with appropriate documentation from the federal government,
and shall make and file with the board, not less than 30 days prior to any regular meeting
thereof, a written application on a form as prescribed for examination by the board and the
application shall be accompanied by three hundred dollars ($300) for a new application or

Section 41-9-252 Cahawba Historical Site - Advisory committee. (a)(1) There is established
an advisory committee to be known as the Cahawba Advisory Committee, composed of 16 members,
15 of whom shall be appointed by the Governor. The Judge of Probate of Dallas County shall
be the sixteenth member but shall be a member ex officio and shall not be entitled to a vote
on the advisory committee. The members shall serve for terms of seven years each, and the

Section 13A-8-114 Phishing. (a) A person commits the crime of phishing if the person by means
of an Internet web page, electronic mail message, or otherwise using the Internet, solicits,
requests, or takes any action to induce another person to provide identifying information
by representing that the person, either directly or by implication, is a business, without
the authority or approval of the business. (b) Any person violating this section, upon conviction,
shall be guilty of a Class C felony. Multiple violations resulting from a single action or
act shall constitute one violation for the purposes of this section. (c) The following persons
