Section 38-5-4 Property which may be retained by applicant. An applicant may retain personal
or real property owned by him or in combination with any other person without reference to
its value if it serves to provide the applicant with a home. Real property owned by the applicant
or in combination with his spouse which is producing income, reasonably consistent with its
value, which is used for the support of the applicant, may be retained in an amount not to
exceed an assessed valuation of $5,000.00 as assessed by the county assessor, less any encumbrances
thereon of record. The applicant may retain as a reserve for future contingencies any combination
of personal or real property not to exceed a total net value of $1,200.00. The value of the

Section 22-21-260 Definitions. As used in this article, the following words and terms, and
the plurals thereof, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, unless otherwise

Section 11-97-2 Definitions. The following words and phrases used in this chapter, and others

Section 40-8-1 Classification of property; assessment rate. (a) On and after October 1, 1978,
with respect to ad valorem taxes levied by the state, and, unless otherwise provided, with

Section 45-20-150.02 Bingo games - Permits. (a) No qualified organization may conduct a bingo
session unless the sheriff of the county issues a permit to the organization authorizing it
to do so. The permit described in this article is in addition to, and not in lieu of, any
other business licenses which may be required by law, and no bingo session may be conducted
until all required licenses have been obtained. A permit holder may hold only one permit and
that permit is valid for only one location. A permit is not assignable nor transferable. (b)
Any qualified organization desiring to obtain a permit to operate bingo sessions in a calendar
year shall apply to the sheriff, on forms provided by that office, and shall pay an annual
fee of one hundred dollars ($100). Renewal applications shall also be filed with the sheriff.
