Section 45-8-120.05 Civil Service Board - Creation; composition; meetings; annual budget. There is created the Civil Service Board of Calhoun County, composed of five members each of whom shall be over 25 years of age, of recognized character and ability, and an actual resident in and a qualified elector of the county. No person shall be eligible to be, or continue to be, a member of the board who holds any elected or appointed office of profit under the state, county, or city; or who presently serves as an employee of Calhoun County. The members of the Civil Service Board of Calhoun County currently serving on May 16, 1996, shall complete their terms. There is created and established an Indian housing authority for the jurisdiction of the State of Alabama, to be styled the Alabama Indian Housing Authority.
