Section 36-19-22 Fees of witnesses and officers serving subpoenas, etc. Every person summoned and testifying before the Fire Marshal, his deputies or assistants shall receive from the funds for the maintenance of this department, on the certificate of the Fire Marshal for witness fees and mileage, such sum or sums as provided for witnesses testifying in the circuit courts of the state, and officers serving subpoenas and rendering other services to the Fire Marshal shall be paid in like manner for like services in such courts.
