Section 11-51-90.2 Purchase of business license; classification of taxpayers; vehicle decals; determination of gross receipts; construction with other provisions. (a) Every taxpayer required to purchase a business license under this chapter shall: (1) Purchase a business license for each location at which it does business in the municipality, except as otherwise provided by the municipality. Section 36-25-1 Definitions. Whenever used in this chapter, the following words and terms shall have the following meanings: (1) BUSINESS. Any corporation, partnership, proprietorship, firm, enterprise, franchise, association, organization, self-employed individual, or any other legal entity. The Interstate Compact for Juveniles is enacted into law and entered into with all jurisdictions mutually adopting the compact in the form substantially as follows: THE INTERSTATE COMPACT FOR JUVENILES Article I. Section 35-15-24 Otherwise existing liability not limited. (a) Nothing in this article limits in any way legal liability which otherwise might exist when such owner has actual knowledge: (1) That the outdoor recreational land is being used for non-commercial recreational purposes; (2) That a condition, use, structure, or activity exists which involves an unreasonable risk of death or serious bodily harm; (3) That the condition, use, structure, or activity is not apparent to the person or persons using the outdoor recreational land; and (4) That having this knowledge, the owner chooses not to guard or warn, in disregard of the possible consequences.
