Section 31-9-40 Compact adopted and enacted. The Emergency Management Assistance Compact is enacted into law and entered with all jurisdictions mutually adopting the compact in the form substantially as follows: THE EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ASSISTANCE COMPACT Article I - Purpose and Authorities. This compact is made and entered into by and between the participating member states which enact this compact, hereinafter called party states. For the purpose of this agreement, the term "states" is taken to mean the several states, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the District of Columbia, and all U.S. territorial possessions. (a) Each person licensed under this chapter shall renew his or her license annually by paying the fee for licensing and submitting to the division the application required by this chapter. Section 22-7A-1 Physician agreements; dentist agreements. (a) For the purposes of this chapter, the following words shall have the following meanings: (1) DENTIST. A person licensed to practice dentistry in this state. (2) DENTIST AGREEMENT or AGREEMENT. Section 5-25-9 Maintenance and examination of records, etc. (a) Any person required to be licensed under this chapter shall maintain in its offices or such other location as the department shall permit the books, accounts, and records as the department may reasonably require in order to determine whether the person is complying with this chapter and rules and regulations adopted pursuant to this chapter. (a) A person that intentionally makes a false statement, misrepresentation, or false certification in a record filed or required to be maintained under this chapter or that intentionally makes a false entry or omits a material entry in such a record, upon conviction, shall be guilty of a Class D felony. Section 34-1A-7 Licenses - Required. (a) Effective January 1, 1998, it shall be unlawful for any person or business entity to engage in a business regulated by this chapter in this state without a current valid license or in violation of this chapter and applicable rules and regulations of the board.
