Section 34-9-64 Annual renewal of parenteral sedation permit; reevaluation of credentials and facility. The board shall renew the parenteral sedation permit annually, upon payment of a renewal fee, unless the holder is informed in writing that a reevaluation of his or her credentials and facility is necessary. In determining whether the reevaluation is necessary, the board shall consider any factors as it deems pertinent including, but not limited to, patient complaints and reports of adverse occurrences.
