Section 11-51-90 Municipal business licenses; branch offices; application. (a) All municipalities shall have the following powers: (1) To license any exhibition, trade, business, vocation, occupation, or profession not prohibited by the Constitution or laws of the state which may be engaged in or carried on in the municipality. (2) To fix the amount of licenses, the time for which they are to run, not exceeding one license year, to provide a penalty for doing business without a license, and to charge a fee not exceeding ten dollars ($10) for issuing each license. The issuance fee shall be increased every five license years by the Department of Revenue by an amount equal to the percentage increase, if any, in the U.S. Department of Labor's Producer Price Index during that five-year period, rounded to the nearest dollar, with the base year being 2006. Section 34-9-6.1 Mobile dental facilities or portable dental operations. (a) For purposes of this section, the following words have the following meanings: (1) DENTAL HOME. The dental home is the ongoing relationship between the dentist and the patient, inclusive of all aspects of oral health care, delivered in a comprehensive, continuously accessible, coordinated, and family-centered way. (2) MOBILE DENTAL FACILITY. Any self-contained facility in which dentistry or dental hygiene is practiced which may be moved, towed, or transported from one location to another. (3) OPERATOR. Section 40-17-161 Annual decal from Liquefied Petroleum Gas Board; reduced fee for certain vehicles; application period; penalties. (a) Every person owning and/or operating such vehicles shall make application for and obtain an annual decal from the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Board which shall serve as an identification marker that the flat fee has been paid. Each decal issued by the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Board shall not exceed a cost of five dollars ($5). The decal shall be in such form and of such size as the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Board shall prescribe. (a) Effective January 1, 1998, it shall be unlawful for any person or business entity to engage in a business regulated by this chapter in this state without a current valid license or in violation of this chapter and applicable rules and regulations of the board.
