Section 11-49B-6 Board of directors. (a) Each authority shall be governed by a board of directors.
All powers of the authority shall be exercised by the board or pursuant to its authorization.
The board shall initially be composed of 10 directors, but may be increased to a maximum of
15 directors if additional counties join the regional system. The directors of the authority
shall be appointed as follows: (1) The president of the county commission in the county where
the authority is organized shall appoint three members of the board of directors for the county

of entry-level pre-certification examination for teacher candidates. (a) The Legislature finds
that Alabama is alone among the southern states in not testing teacher candidates before allowing
them in the classroom, and acknowledges that the need exists to establish, maintain, and enforce
minimum professional standards for teacher candidates in the State of Alabama. In response
to such need, there is hereby created a Professional Teachers Standards Commission (the commission)

is established the Alabama State Board of Occupational Therapy. (1) The board shall consist

service. All legislative powers of the city, including all powers vested in it by this chapter,
