Section 34-40-5 Requirements for license; application; fees. (a) Any person seeking licensure as an athletic trainer shall be a citizen of the United States or, if not a citizen of the United States, a person who is legally present in the United States with appropriate documentation from the federal government, and meet at least one of the following requirements: (1) Satisfactory completion of all of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) Board of Certification, Inc., qualifications and certification as an athletic trainer in good standing by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification, Inc. (2) Licensure by reciprocity. Section 34-41-5 Powers of board. (a) The board shall elect from its membership a chair, a vice chair, and a secretary-treasurer. The board shall adopt rules to govern its proceedings. The classes may be revised or other classes added if necessary to conform in all respects with the Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery and Enforcement Act of 1989, Pub.L.
