Section 11-81-21 Investment of funds obligation in which sinking funds may be invested. Any municipal funds or county funds not presently needed for other purposes may be invested in any obligations in which sinking funds are now authorized to be invested, pursuant to Section 11-81-19, and in addition in any of the following: (1) Direct obligations of (including obligations issued or held in book entry form on the books of) the Department of the Treasury of the United States of America; (2) Obligations of any of the following federal agencies, which obligations represent the full faith and credit of the United States of America: a. Section 40-17-350 Transportation of motor fuel; inspections. (a) Each person operating a refinery or terminal in Alabama shall prepare and provide to the driver of every highway vehicle receiving motor fuel at the facility a shipping document setting out on its face the destination state as represented to the terminal operator by the shipper or the shipper's agent. Failure to comply with this subsection may result in a department imposed penalty of not less than five hundred dollars ($500) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000), to be multiplied by the sum of the current violation plus prior violations of this subsection. (a)(1) In Chambers County, the sheriff shall keep and maintain a permanent record of all abandoned and stolen personal property recovered by the sheriff's department.
