Section 37-3-15 Licensing and regulation of brokers. (a) No person shall for compensation sell or offer for sale transportation subject to this chapter or shall make any contract, agreement or arrangement to provide, procure, furnish or arrange for such transportation or shall hold himself or itself out by advertisement, solicitation or otherwise as one who sells, provides, procures, contracts or arranges for such transportation, unless such person holds a broker's license issued by the commission to engage in such transactions; provided, that no such person shall engage in transportation subject to this chapter unless he holds a certificate or permit as provided in this chapter. Section 45-32-150.13 Tax due on pari-mutuel pools; distribution of contributions. Every licensee conducting race meetings under this part, shall pay to the ex-officio treasurer of the racing commission for the use of the commission, a tax in an amount equal to four percent of the total contributions to all pari-mutuel pools conducted or made on any race track licensed under this part. The commission of a licensee on a pari-mutuel pool shall in no event exceed 18 percent of the amount contributed to the pari-mutuel pool, which amount shall include the four percent tax heretofore provided. Section 34-24-194 Complaint charging violation of article; hearing; subpoenas; judicial review of revocation or refusal of license. (a) Any person may file a complaint with the board against any licensed physical therapist or licensed physical therapist assistant in the state charging the person with a violation of this article. The complaint shall set forth specifications of charges in sufficient detail to disclose to the accused fully and completely the alleged acts of misconduct for which he or she is charged. On or before the first day of December of each year, any person, association, or corporation possessing the qualifications prescribed in this part shall have the right to apply to the racing commission for a permit or license to conduct race meetings and racing under this part.
