Section 40-27-1 Compact adopted; terms. The following Multistate Tax Compact is hereby approved, adopted and enacted into law by the State of Alabama: Multistate Tax Compact Article I. Purposes. The purposes of this compact are to: 1. Facilitate proper determination of state and local tax liability of multistate taxpayers, including the equitable apportionment of tax bases and settlement of apportionment disputes. 2. Promote uniformity or compatibility in significant components of tax systems. 3. Facilitate taxpayer convenience and compliance in the filing of tax returns and in other phases of tax administration. 4. Avoid duplicative taxation. Article II. Definitions. Section 34-24-333 Issuance of certificate of qualification; application and issuance of license; issuance of license under Retired Senior Volunteer Program. Section 34-29-78 Injunction against unauthorized practice of veterinary medicine. The board or any citizen of this state may bring action in the Circuit Court of Montgomery County to enjoin any person from practicing veterinary medicine without a currently valid license or temporary permit. (a) The State Board of Medical Examiners may, at its discretion and subject to the rules and regulations promulgated by the board, issue a certificate of qualification in behalf of physicians meeting the requirements for participation in the Retired Senior Volunteer Program.
