Section 40-27-1 Compact adopted; terms. The following Multistate Tax Compact is hereby approved, adopted and enacted into law by the State of Alabama: Multistate Tax Compact Article I. Purposes. The purposes of this compact are to: 1. Facilitate proper determination of state and local tax liability of multistate taxpayers, including the equitable apportionment of tax bases and settlement of apportionment disputes. 2. Promote uniformity or compatibility in significant components of tax systems. 3. Facilitate taxpayer convenience and compliance in the filing of tax returns and in other phases of tax administration. 4. Avoid duplicative taxation. Article II. Definitions. As used in this compact: 1. "State" means a state of the United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or any territory or possession of the United States. 2. Section 34-25-34 Refusal, suspension, reprimand, probation, or revocation - Hearing. Section 34-24-273 Issuance; contents; display by holder. Every applicant who shall pass the standard examination, or whose reciprocity has been accepted by the State Board of Podiatry, shall receive from the board a license entitling him or her to practice podiatry in Alabama, which license shall be signed by the president of the board and countersigned by the secretary-treasurer of the board and have affixed thereto the seal of the board and be duly numbered and registered in the record book kept by the secretary-treasurer of the board, which record book shall be open to public inspection, and a duly certified copy of the record shall be received as evidence in all courts of this state in the trial of any case. Section 34-29-79 Administrative hearing procedures. (a) When the board, by its official actions, acts or proposes to act in a manner which will affect the rights, duties, or privileges of the issuance of a license to an applicant or the license of a veterinarian, veterinary technician, or other individual, those persons shall have a right to an administrative hearing. (a) Any person wishing to make a complaint against a licensee or apprentice under this chapter shall reduce the same to writing and file his or her complaint with the board within one year from the date of the action upon which the complaint is based. Section 34-14A-7 Applications for issuance or renewal of license; records; inactive license.
