Section 22-22A-5 Powers and functions of department; representation of department by Attorney General in legal actions. Section 45-37-123.01 Definitions. For the purposes of this part, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) ACT. Section 27-21A-7 Evidence of coverage and charges for health care services. (a)(1) Every enrollee residing in this state is entitled to an evidence of coverage. If the enrollee obtains such coverage through an insurance policy or a contract issued by a health care service plan, the insurer or the health care service plan shall issue the evidence of coverage. Otherwise, the health maintenance organization shall issue the evidence of coverage. (a) The Legislature finds and declares all of the following: (1) A primary goal of the provision of health care is to prioritize patient safety and wellness. (2) The board is in the best position to determine the practice of chiropractic that prioritizes patient safety and wellness.
