Section 34-31-29 Examinations generally; reciprocity agreements. (a) The board shall provide for examinations which test the knowledge, skill, and proficiency of the applicants. (b) Examinations shall be held at such time and place as may be fixed by the board at least once each three-month period. Written notice of the place of examinations shall be mailed to all persons who have filed current applications for the examinations of the board. (c) The board may charge each applicant and retesting applicants for examination a reasonable fee based on the actual costs for administering the examinations. Applicants must stand for the examination within one year from the date the board receives the examination application and fees, otherwise the applicant must resubmit an application and appropriate fees. Section 45-35-150.02 Bingo games - Permits. (a) No qualified organization or club shall be permitted to operate a bingo game unless the sheriff of the county first issues a permit to the organization or club authorizing it to do so. The permit described in this article is in addition to, and not in lieu of, any other business licenses which may be required by law, and no bingo game shall be operated until all required licenses have been obtained. A permit holder may hold only one permit and that permit is valid for only one location. The location may not be a location where any other permit holder conducts bingo sessions. A permit is not assignable or transferable. Section 38-15-6 Fees. (a)(1) The department may charge a fee for the registration. The fee may be set by rule of the department and may be based on the type of facility and the capacity of the facility. After the initial registration approval, the department may charge a renewal fee annually on each anniversary of the effective date of the registration.
