Section 45-39-40.05 Qualifications. (a) No person shall be admitted to examination or receive a license under this article, except as otherwise provided for in this article, unless such person shall possess the following qualifications: (1) BARBER. Except as otherwise provided for in this article, no person may be licensed as a barber under this article unless such person shall pay the original licensing fee, as hereinafter provided, and have an education equivalent to the completion of 10 grades in school and shall have served and completed the required time and studies as follows: a. (a) In order to safeguard public welfare, health, and property and to promote public good, any person practicing or offering to practice landscape architecture, privately or in public service, shall be required to submit evidence that he or she is qualified to practice as hereinafter provided.
