Section 27-7-5 Licenses - Qualifications. (a) An individual applying for a resident insurance
producer license shall make application to the commissioner on the Uniform Application, and
an individual applying for a service representative license shall make application to the
commissioner on the application prescribed by the commissioner, each declaring under penalty
of refusal, suspension, or revocation of the license that the statements made in the application
are true, correct, and complete to the best of the individual's knowledge and belief. Before
approving the application, the commissioner shall find that the individual has satisfied all
of the following: (1) The individual is at least 18 years of age. (2) The individual has not
committed any act that is a ground for denial, suspension, or revocation set forth in Section
27-7-19. (3) The individual has completed a prelicensing course of study for the lines of

(a) As a prerequisite to renewal of a license to appraise real estate, the licensed real estate
appraiser, licensed for any classification under this article, shall present evidence satisfactory

(a)(1) The State Board of Medical Examiners on its own motion may investigate any evidence
which appears to show that a physician or osteopath holding a certificate of qualification
to practice medicine or osteopathy in the State of Alabama is or may be guilty of any of the
acts, offenses, or conditions set out in Section 34-24-360. As part of its investigation,
the board may require a criminal history background check of the physician or osteopath. In

Section 34-27-35 License certificates generally. (a) The commission shall prescribe the form
and content of license certificates issued. Each qualifying broker's license certificate shall
show the name and business address of the broker. The license certificate of each active salesperson
