Section 34-8A-14 Renewal; fees; continuing education; practice in a specialty. (a) Counselors licensed as a licensed professional counselor by the board shall be required to submit biennially at the time of renewal a license renewal fee to be established by the board. No license shall be renewed unless the renewal request is accompanied by evidence satisfactory to the board of the completion during the previous 24 months of relevant professional and continued educational experience. Section 34-8A-18 Penalties; review; disciplinary oversight of licensees; legal counsel.
