Section 33-15-6 Powers, duties and functions generally. The general powers, duties and functions of the authority shall be as follows: (1) GENERAL. The authority: a. Shall have perpetual succession in its corporate name; b. May bring civil actions and have civil actions brought against it in its corporate name; c. May adopt, use, and alter a corporate seal, which shall be judicially noticed; d. (a) In order to safeguard public welfare, health, and property and to promote public good, any person practicing or offering to practice landscape architecture, privately or in public service, shall be required to submit evidence that he or she is qualified to practice as hereinafter provided. It shall be unlawful for any person to practice landscape architecture or to use the term or title "landscape architect" or "registered landscape architect" unless duly licensed under the provisions of this chapter.
