Section 38-15-4 Registration of certain youth residential institutions or organizations; staff training plans; rights of children; licensing and inspection of food preparation areas; access by law enforcement agencies. (a) Commencing on January 1, 2018, the department shall register any religious, faith-based, or church nonprofit, other nonprofit, or for profit affiliated youth residential facility, youth social rehabilitation facility, community treatment facility for youths, youth transitional care facility, long term youth residential facility, private alternative boarding school, private alternative outdoor program, and any organization entrusted with the residential care of children in any organizational form or combination defined by this section, whenever children are housed at the facility or location of the program for a period of more than 24 hours. (a) A firm engaged in this state in the practice of public accounting may register with the board as a firm of certified public accountants provided it meets all of the following requirements: (1) At least 51 percent of the ownership of the firm, in terms of financial interests and voting rights of all partners, officers, shareholders, members, or managers, belongs to holders of a certificate who are licensed in some state, and such partners, officers, shareholders, members, or managers, whose principal place of business is in this state, and who perform professional services in this state hold a valid certificate issued under Section 34-1-4. Section 34-24-144 Board of Chiropractic Examiners - Officers; meetings; rules and regulations; bond. The members of the State Board of Chiropractic Examiners shall convene within 30 days after their election or appointment and elect a president, vice-president, and secretary-treasurer from among their members, and thereafter the board shall elect, annually, after the commencement of the term of any board member, a president, vice-president, and secretary-treasurer from among the members of the board. Section 34-21-2 Board of Nursing generally. (a) There is created the Board of Nursing, which shall be composed of 13 members to be appointed and have the duties and powers enumerated in this section.
