Section 33-2-1 Authority of state and State Docks Department generally. In addition to the
authority granted to the State of Alabama by the provisions of Section 93 of the Constitution
of Alabama as amended, and any other laws of this state, the state is hereby expressly authorized
and empowered to engage in works of internal improvement by promoting, developing, constructing,
maintaining and operating along navigable rivers, streams or waterways now or hereafter existing
within this state, all manner of dock facilities, elevators, compresses, warehouses, water
and rail terminals and other structures and facilities and improvements of every kind needful
for the convenient use of same, in aid of commerce and use of the waterways of this state;
provided, that all such works, improvements and facilities shall always be and remain under

Section 33-2-69 Disposition of proceeds from sale of bonds. The proceeds from the sale of any
of the bonds (other than refunding bonds) shall be paid into the State Treasury and kept by
the State Treasurer in a separate account and paid over to the secretary-treasurer of the

Section 40-13-6 Distribution of tax proceeds. (a) In each fiscal year when the funds then on
deposit in the special fund or funds created for retirement of the bonds equal the amount

Section 22-30D-6 Registration; fees. (a) No later than May 24, 2001, each owner or operator
of a drycleaning facility located in this state who shall notify the department that it elects
to be covered by this chapter shall also register each drycleaning facility owned or operated
in the state by such owner or operator with the department on forms provided by the department.
Each owner or operator electing to register pursuant to this subsection shall submit its registration

Section 14-2-29 Facilities - Leasing - State or agency thereof. (a) The authority is hereby
authorized to enter into a lease or leases of any one or more facilities constructed, acquired,
reconstructed, renovated or improved by the authority under the provisions of this chapter
