Section 33-10-9 Executive director - To be secretary to board of commissioners; compensation;
employment of personnel. The executive director, in addition to his usual functions, shall
be secretary to the board of commissioners. The board of commissioners shall fix the compensation

Section 34-14A-4 Officers; meetings; compensation. (a) Members of the board shall select from
its own membership a chair, who shall preside at all meetings of the board unless otherwise
ordered, and he or she shall exercise and perform all duties and functions incident to the
office of chair. The board may select from its own membership a vice-chair, a secretary, and
a treasurer. The offices of secretary and treasurer may be held by the same person. (b) The

Section 40-27-1 Compact adopted; terms. The following Multistate Tax Compact is hereby approved,
adopted and enacted into law by the State of Alabama: Multistate Tax Compact Article I. Purposes.

Section 34-37-4 Meetings, compensation, and expenses of board. (a) The board shall meet when
necessary for the proper performance of its duties, but in no case less than once a year.
