Section 32-7A-3 Powers and duties of department. (a) The department shall administer and enforce the provisions of this chapter and shall make such reasonable rules and regulations concerning any matter administered in this chapter and shall provide for hearings upon the request of persons aggrieved by orders or acts of the department under the provisions of this chapter. (b) The department may prescribe and provide suitable notices and forms necessary to carry out the provisions of this chapter. (c) The department: (1) May make necessary investigations to procure information required to carry out the provisions of this chapter. (2) Shall suspend the motor vehicle registrations pursuant to the provisions of this chapter. Section 16-6F-7 Applicant proposals; conversion to public charter school; terms of charters; contracts. (a) Request for proposals. (1) To solicit, encourage, and guide the development of quality public charter school applications, every local school board, in its role as public charter school authorizer, shall issue and broadly publicize a request for proposals for public charter school applications by July 17, 2015, and by November 1 in each subsequent year. The content and dissemination of the request for proposals shall be consistent with the purposes and requirements of this act. Section 32-9A-2 Compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations; in-service training by law enforcement officers. Section 40-29-23.1 Development and operation of financial institution data match program. (a) For purposes of this section the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) ACCOUNT. A demand deposit account, checking account, negotiable withdrawal order account, savings account, time deposit account, or money-market mutual fund account. (2) ACCOUNT HOLDER. A person or persons authorized to perform transactions on behalf of an account. (3) DELINQUENT TAXPAYER.
