Section 8-19-5 Unlawful trade practices. The following deceptive acts or practices in the conduct of any trade or commerce are hereby declared to be unlawful: (1) Passing off goods or services as those of another, provided that this section shall not prohibit the private labeling of goods or services. (2) Causing confusion or misunderstanding as to the source, sponsorship, approval, or certification of goods or services. Section 8-37-3 (Effective January 1, 2018) GAP waivers authorized; charges; insurance; creditor requirements. (a) GAP waivers may be offered, sold, or provided to borrowers in this state under this chapter. (b) GAP waivers, at the option of the creditor that offers the GAP waiver, may be sold for a single payment or may be offered with a monthly or periodic payment option. Section 34-9-6.1 Mobile dental facilities or portable dental operations. (a) For purposes of this section, the following words have the following meanings: (1) DENTAL HOME. The dental home is the ongoing relationship between the dentist and the patient, inclusive of all aspects of oral health care, delivered in a comprehensive, continuously accessible, coordinated, and family-centered way. (a) Proof of financial responsibility may be furnished by filing with the director the written certificate of any insurance carrier duly authorized to do business in this state certifying that there is in effect a motor vehicle liability policy for the benefit of the person required to furnish proof of financial responsibility. (a)(1) When the department is unable to verify that liability insurance coverage exists for a motor vehicle registered or required to be registered in this state, the department shall send the registrant notice via U.S. mail at the last known address as reflected on the department's motor vehicle registration records.
