Section 45-19-141.04 Fire protection fee - Eligibility to receive proceeds. To be eligible
to receive proceeds from the fire protection fee, each department shall be a member in good
standing in the Coosa County Association of Volunteer Fire Departments. For the purpose of
this part, "good standing" is defined as being current on all association dues,
being incorporated as a volunteer nonprofit organization, having a bonded official responsible
for the use of any proceeds of the fire protection fee, and being recognized by the Alabama
Forestry Commission as a volunteer fire department. Departments not in good standing may be

Section 45-49-142.02 Duties of board. The board shall review and evaluate the delivery of volunteer
fire services to owners of dwellings and commercial buildings within the unincorporated area
in Mobile County Commission District 1 and any incorporated area in the district served by

Section 45-45-175.01 Location - Proximity to fire department. (a)(1) In Madison County, any
petroleum product tank farm shall be within five miles of and served by a full-time paid fire
department. The site of any petroleum product tank farm shall be approved by resolution of
the county commission if located outside of the corporate limits of a municipality or by either
resolution of the municipal governing body or by compliance with applicable zoning laws if
located within the corporate limits of a municipality. The petroleum product tank farm operator

fire departments under this part may be audited by the Mobile County Commission at any time,
but not less than every two years. If the Mobile County Commission finds or determines that
