Section 27-44-8 Powers and duties of association. (a) If a member insurer is an impaired insurer, the association may, in its discretion and subject to any conditions imposed by the association that do not impair the contractual obligations of the impaired insurer, and that are approved by the commissioner: (1) Guarantee or reinsure, or cause to be guaranteed, assumed, or reinsured, any or all of the covered policies of the impaired insurers. (2) Provide such moneys, pledges, notes, guarantees, or other means as are proper to effectuate subdivision (1), and assure payment of the contractual obligations of the impaired insurer pending action under subdivision (1). (b) If a member insurer is an insolvent insurer, the association shall, in its discretion and subject to the approval of the commissioner, do either of the following: (1)a. Section 27-7-5.3 Licenses - Limited license for self-service storage facility. (a) As used in this section, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) LIMITED LICENSEE. A person or entity authorized to sell certain coverages for personal property maintained in self-service storage facilities pursuant to this section. (2) OCCUPANT. A person, his or her sublessee, successor, or assign entitled to the use of the storage space at a self-service storage facility under a rental agreement, to the exclusion of others. (3) OWNER. Section 8-32-2 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) ADMINISTRATOR. Section 11-61A-15 Issuance of bonds. (a) The authority may issue bonds under and secured by an indenture between the authority and a trustee. The trustee may be a private person or corporation, including, but not limited to, any trust company or bank having trust powers, whether the bank or trust company is located within or without the state.
