Section 32-20-31 Transfer of interest by dealer. (a) If a dealer buys a manufactured home and
holds it for resale and procures the certificate of title from the owner or the lienholder
he or she need not send the certificate to the department but, upon transferring the manufactured
home to another person other than by the creation of a security interest, shall promptly execute
the assignment and warranty of title by a dealer, showing the names and addresses of the transferee
and of any lienholder holding a security interest created or reserved at the time of the resale
and the date of his or her security agreement, in the spaces provided therefor on the certificate
or as the department prescribes, and mail or deliver the certificate to a designated agent
with the transferee's application for a new certificate. (b) Every dealer shall maintain for

Section 24-4A-1 Legislative findings; purpose of chapter. The Legislature hereby finds that
in an effort to meet the housing needs within the state, the private housing and construction
industry has developed mass production techniques which can substantially reduce a housing
and building cost, and that the mass production of housing and buildings consisting primarily
of factory manufacture presents unique problems with respect to the establishment of uniform
health and safety standards and inspection procedures. The Legislature further finds that

Section 27-22-21 Policy and premium information to be submitted to the Department of Insurance.
(a) Each insurance company authorized to transact homeowners insurance business in the State
of Alabama shall annually submit to the department for homeowners insurance policies, computations
of the total amount of direct incurred losses, the number of policies in force, and the direct
earned premiums for the prior calendar year. The insurance company shall report the computations
to the department by zip code. The information received by the department shall be aggregated
across all insurance companies collectively and the aggregated totals shall be arranged by

Section 24-6-4 Powers and duties; fund; Sunset provision. (a) The commission, in an advisory
