Section 31-9B-3 Providing of information; requirements for emergency and disaster planning
provisions; immunity. (a) All appropriate agencies and community-based service providers,
including, but not limited to, home health care providers, hospices, community mental health
centers, and related facilities, but not including health care facilities which provide inpatient
care to include general and specialized hospitals including ancillary services, skilled nursing
facilities, intermediate care facilities, or any assisted living facility, shall provide information
on the number of individuals with medical needs and shall assist the State Health Department
in the establishment of programs to increase the awareness of medical needs shelters, and
in educating clients and sponsors or caregivers about the procedures that may be necessary

Section 31-9-40 Compact adopted and enacted. The Emergency Management Assistance Compact is
enacted into law and entered with all jurisdictions mutually adopting the compact in the form
substantially as follows: THE EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ASSISTANCE COMPACT Article I - Purpose

Section 34-9-6.1 Mobile dental facilities or portable dental operations. (a) For purposes of
this section, the following words have the following meanings: (1) DENTAL HOME. The dental
home is the ongoing relationship between the dentist and the patient, inclusive of all aspects
of oral health care, delivered in a comprehensive, continuously accessible, coordinated, and
family-centered way. (2) MOBILE DENTAL FACILITY. Any self-contained facility in which dentistry
or dental hygiene is practiced which may be moved, towed, or transported from one location
to another. (3) OPERATOR. A person licensed to practice dentistry in this state or an entity
which is approved as tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code which

Section 38-9-6 Protective placement or other protective services. (a) An interested person
may petition the court to order protective placement or other protective services for an adult
in need of protective services. No protective placement or other protective services may be
ordered unless there is a determination by the court that the person is unable to provide
for his or her own protection from abuse, neglect, exploitation, sexual abuse, or emotional
abuse. Upon a petition, setting forth the facts and name, age, sex, and residence of the person,
the court of the circuit in which the person resides shall appoint a day, not more than 30

Compact. The Emergency Medical Services Personnel Licensure Interstate Compact is hereby enacted

and ensure accountability for patient care related activities all states license emergency
medical services (EMS) personnel, such as emergency medical technicians (EMTs), advanced EMTs

the juvenile court may make any of the following orders of disposition to protect the welfare
