Section 31-8-26 Unauthorized purchase or receipt of transfer of pension claim or warrant. Any
person who shall purchase or receive a transfer of any pension claim or warrant issued or
to be issued under the pension laws for the relief of needy widows of Confederate soldiers
or sailors before the same is received by the county department of human resources, except
as otherwise provided by law, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and, on conviction, shall
