Section 30-6-7 Limitations on appropriation and expenditure of funds. (a) The Department of Economic and Community Affairs may pay the administrative costs necessary to fulfill the requirements of this chapter from the Domestic Violence Trust Fund; provided, however, the department may not expend, on an annual basis, more than eight percent of the total available funds from the Domestic Violence Trust Fund, or the actual costs of administration, whichever is less. (b) Each domestic violence center shall complete a financial audit after its first year of operation following certification. Thereafter, a domestic violence center shall complete a financial audit every three years or at the request of the director. (a) In order to be certified, each domestic violence center shall do all of the following: (1) Provide a facility that shall serve as a center to receive and house persons who are victims of domestic violence. Section 40-18-140 Contribution designations. (a) As used in Section 32-5A-191, the term, "ignition interlock device" means a constant monitoring device that prevents a motor vehicle from being started at any time without first determining the equivalent blood alcohol level of the operator through the taking of a breath sample for testing. The system shall be calibrated so that the motor vehicle may not be started if the blood alcohol level of the operator, as measured by the test, reaches a blood alcohol concentration level of 0.02.
