Section 31-9-40 Compact adopted and enacted. The Emergency Management Assistance Compact is enacted into law and entered with all jurisdictions mutually adopting the compact in the form substantially as follows: THE EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ASSISTANCE COMPACT Article I - Purpose and Authorities. This compact is made and entered into by and between the participating member states which enact this compact, hereinafter called party states. For the purpose of this agreement, the term "states" is taken to mean the several states, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the District of Columbia, and all U.S. territorial possessions. Section 24-8A-2 Definitions. For the purposes of this chapter, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) ASSISTANCE ANIMAL. An animal, other than a service animal, that qualifies as a reasonable accommodation under the Fair Housing Act, Public Law 90-284, 42 U.S.C. § 3601, et seq., or Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Public Law 93-112, 29 U.S.C. § 794. Section 3-10-4 Report requirements. (a) Each animal shelter shall report the information required in Section 3-10-3 no later than 30 days after the end of each month. Each animal shelter shall make the report available to the public upon request. The animal shelter may compile, publish, computerize, and enter the data or information required in Section 3-10-3 in a form which is compatible with any system utilized by the animal shelter as long as the information required in Section 3-10-3 is included in the report.
