Section 45-21-242.18 Charge for collection; disposition of funds. (a) The State Department
of Revenue shall charge Crenshaw County for collecting the special county tax levied under
this part an amount or percentage of total collections as may be agreed upon by the Commissioner
of Revenue and the Crenshaw County Commission, but the charge shall not, in any event, exceed
10 percent of the total amount of the special county tax collected in county under this part.
The charge for collecting the special tax may be deducted each month from the gross revenues
from the special tax before certification of the amount of the proceeds due Crenshaw County
for that month. The Commissioner of Revenue shall pay into the State Treasury all tax collected

Section 45-27-244.35 Certificate of assessment; issuance of license tag; valuation; municipal
taxes. (a) Every person, firm, or corporation residing in or owning a motor vehicle which
is principally used in Escambia County who desires to operate a motor vehicle on the public
highways of Alabama shall first return the motor vehicle for ad valorem taxation and sales
taxation to the tax collector. The tax collector shall issue a certificate of assessment on
a form prescribed by the State Department of Revenue, shall collect the tax as shown thereon,
and shall make a duplicate of the tax receipt and keep the receipt on file in the office of
the tax collector for one year after each audit. The license tag shall be evidence of the

Section 45-43-242.20 Disposition of funds. (a) This section shall apply to Lowndes County only.
(b) Paragraph r. of subdivision (2) of subsection (c) of Section 28-3-190 to the contrary

county pursuant to that paragraph shall be paid to the Lowndes County Commission who, after

the procurement of professional services by any agency, department, board, bureau, commission,
authority, public corporation, or instrumentality of the State of Alabama shall be conducted

Section 45-48-242 Additional tax on wholesale price of spirituous or vinous liquors. In Marshall
County, in addition to all other taxes of every kind now imposed by law, there is hereby levied
and shall be collected a county tax at the rate of five percent upon the wholesale price of
all spirituous or vinous liquors sold by the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board to any retailer
of spirituous or vinous liquors or beverages containing such liquors. The county tax herein

Revenue to be used in the program of ad valorem tax equalization provided for in this division,
