Section 11-65-21 Suspension or revocation of license. A commission may suspend or revoke any license or fine the holder thereof not to exceed $5,000.00 after hearing with 15 days' notice in any case where it has reason to believe that any regulation of the commission has not been complied with or has been violated. Annually, each commission shall review the performance of each licensee for compliance with the provisions of this chapter and the rules and regulations of such commission. Deliberations of a commission under this section may be conducted in executive session, unless otherwise requested by the licensee. If any such license is suspended or revoked, the commission shall state its reason for doing so, which shall be entered of record.
