Section 22-6-220 Definitions. For the purposes of this article, the following words shall have the following meanings: (1) CAPITATION PAYMENT. A payment the state Medicaid Agency makes periodically to the integrated care network on behalf of each recipient enrolled under a contract for the provision of medical services pursuant to this article. Section 34-43-21 Continuing education. (a) Every massage therapist licensed pursuant to this chapter shall be required to complete 16 hours of continuing education as a condition for renewing his or her license. The continuing education courses shall be offered by providers approved by the board. The courses shall have been completed within the 24 months preceding the date renewal is due. Hours in excess of the total number required may not be carried over to future renewals. (b) Each county of the state shall be included in a local multidisciplinary, multiagency child death review team's jurisdiction. The district attorney shall initiate the establishment of local teams by convening a meeting of potential team members within 60 days of September 11, 1997.
