Section 20-2-301 Medication assisted treatment. (a)(1) For all patients receiving medication assisted treatment, adequate billing records shall be maintained, in any format, for all patient visits. Billing records shall be maintained for a period of three years from the date of the patient's last treatment. Billing records shall be made for all methods of payment. Billing records shall include, but not be limited to, information detailing all of the following: a. The amount paid for services. b. Method of payment. c. Date of the delivery of services. d. Date of payment. e. Description of services. (2) Records of all bank deposits of cash payments for medication assisted treatment shall be maintained, in any format, for a period of three years. Section 22-37A-5 Certification of persons engaged in lead hazard reduction on activities; powers of board. (a) Before engaging in lead hazard reduction activities, a person, firm, or corporation shall be certified by the board as specified in this chapter. This subsection shall not apply to an individual performing lead abatement on a structure, or the portion of a structure that is used as his or her private residence. Notwithstanding the foregoing, this subsection shall apply to any person contracted by the home owner to perform deleading activities and also applies where the owner performs such activities in or upon another structure which is not his or her private residence or the portion thereof. Section 36-27-6.5 Employers authorized to provide Tier I retirement benefits to Tier II plan members. (a) Any employer participating in the Employees' Retirement System of Alabama pursuant to Section 36-27-6, may, by adoption of a resolution by May 8, 2021, elect to provide to its Tier II plan members the same retirement benefits provided to Tier I plan members. Provided, however, the Employees' Retirement System Board of Control, based on a staff review of the historical compliance with ERS requirements as well as the financial stability of the local government entity, may elect to deny the election authorized herein.
