Section 27-31B-3 Licensing. (a) Any captive insurance company, when permitted by its articles
of association, charter, or other organizational document, may apply to the commissioner for
a license to do any and all insurance defined in Sections 27-5-2, 27-5-4, and 27-5-5, in subdivisions
(1), (2), (4), (5), (6), (7), (8), (9), (10), (11), (12), (13), and (14) of subsection (a)
of Section 27-5-6, in Sections 27-5-7, 27-5-8, 27-5-9, and 27-5-10, and to grant annuity contracts
as defined in Section 27-5-3, subject, however, to all of the following: (1) No pure captive
insurance company may insure any risks other than those of its parent and affiliated companies
or controlled unaffiliated business. (2) No association captive insurance company may insure

Section 25-5-8 Employers' options to secure payment of compensation. (a) Option to insure risks.
An employer subject to this chapter may secure the payment of compensation under this chapter
by insuring and keeping insured his or her liability in some insurance corporation, association,
organization, insurance association, corporation, or association formed of employers and workers
or formed by a group of employers to insure the risks under this chapter, operating by mutual
assessment or other plans or otherwise. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the insurance association,

Section 16-6F-7 Applicant proposals; conversion to public charter school; terms of charters;
contracts. (a) Request for proposals. (1) To solicit, encourage, and guide the development
of quality public charter school applications, every local school board, in its role as public
charter school authorizer, shall issue and broadly publicize a request for proposals for public
charter school applications by July 17, 2015, and by November 1 in each subsequent year. The

Section 27-27-21 Domestic mutual insurers - Membership. (a) Each policyholder of a domestic
mutual insurer, other than of a reinsurance contract, is a member of the insurer with all
rights and obligations of such membership, and the policy shall so specify. (b) Any individual,

Section 27-5B-13 Concentration risk. (a) A ceding insurer shall take steps to manage its reinsurance
recoverables proportionate to its own book of business. A domestic ceding insurer shall notify
the commissioner within 30 days after reinsurance recoverables from any single assuming insurer,
or group of affiliated assuming insurers, exceeds 50 percent of the domestic ceding insurer's

Section 27-27-35 Nonassessable policies in mutual insurers - Revocation of domestic insurers

to issue policies without contingent liability if at any time the insurer's assets are less
