Section 41-10-541 Definitions. (a) The following words and phrases used in this division, and others evidently intended as the equivalent thereof, shall, in the absence of clear implication herein otherwise, be given the following respective interpretations herein: (1) APPROPRIATED FUNDS. Net TVA payments to the extent such payments are pledged and appropriated to the authority pursuant to Section 41-10-550. (2) AUTHORITY. The public corporation organized pursuant to this division. Section 22-28-23 Local air pollution control programs. (a) Except as provided in this section, it is the intention of this chapter to occupy by preemption the field of air pollution control within all areas of the State of Alabama. Section 34-14A-7 Applications for issuance or renewal of license; records; inactive license. (a) Any residential home builder who desires to receive a new or renewal license under this chapter shall make and file with the board 30 days prior to the next meeting of the board a written application on a form prescribed by the board. Section 34-21-2 Board of Nursing generally. (a) There is created the Board of Nursing, which shall be composed of 13 members to be appointed and have the duties and powers enumerated in this section. The membership of the board shall be inclusive and reflect the racial, gender, geographic, urban/rural, and economic diversity of the state. (a) In the Tenth Judicial Circuit of Alabama, Birmingham Division, the district attorney of the circuit may appoint 43 deputy district attorneys. Section 8-17-91 Disposition of funds; overpayments.
