Section 27-34-12 Preliminary certificate - Initial solicitations and qualifications. Upon receipt of a preliminary certificate from the commissioner, the society may solicit members for the purpose of completing its organization, shall collect from each applicant the amount of not less than one regular monthly premium in accordance with its table of rates as provided by its constitution and laws and shall issue to each such applicant a receipt for the amount so collected. Section 27-34-26 Beneficiaries. (a) The member shall have the right at all times to change the beneficiary, or beneficiaries, in accordance with the constitution, laws, or rules of the society. (a) The PACT Program is established as one college savings alternative under the plan whereby purchasers enter into PACT contracts for the future payment of tuition and mandatory fees at eligible educational institutions.
