The Director of Transportation shall require all bidders to furnish a statement under oath, on such forms as the State Department of Transportation may prescribe, of detailed information with respect to their financial resources, equipment, past record, and experience of both the firm and personnel of the organization, together with such other information as the State Department of Transportation may deem necessary for carrying out the provisions of this chapter. To increase public confidence in the fairness of the state tax system, the state shall provide an independent agency with tax expertise to resolve disputes between the Department of Revenue and taxpayers, prior to requiring the payment of the amounts in issue or the posting of a bond, but after the taxpayer has had a full opportunity to attempt settlement with the Department of Revenue based, among other things, on the hazards of litigation. Section 34-21-2 Board of Nursing generally. (a) There is created the Board of Nursing, which shall be composed of 13 members to be appointed and have the duties and powers enumerated in this section. The membership of the board shall be inclusive and reflect the racial, gender, geographic, urban/rural, and economic diversity of the state. Section 25-4-55 Payment of interest on moneys advanced by federal government - Contributory employer's assessment; method of determining amount; procedures. In addition to all other contributions required to be paid by the provisions of Sections 25-4-51 and 25-4-54, when the Unemployment Compensation Trust Fund of this state has received advances from the federal government under the provisions of 42 U.S.C. 1321, each contributory employer shall be assessed an additional rate solely for the purpose of paying interest due on such federal advances.
